Love Sex Aur Dhokha

Whether Indian public is ready for a film like Love Sex Aur Dhokha is yet to be seen. But the director Dibakar Banerjee of Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! fame is quite confident about the film. Nurturing this story for over six years, he is happy finally to turn it into a film.

Now, the director plans to visit the Censor Board members to get his film cleared without any cuts. However, it may not be as easy as it sounds, because the movie not only has many controversial scenes but also a hot bed scene which Dibakar knows that the Censor Board won’t pass. So, what! He is ready for an ‘Adult’ certificate for his provocative film.

As he tells a tabloid, “It will shock and provoke you in the first five minutes and then you will get absorbed into it. We are living in a digital age where we are captured by circuit cameras, MMS videos etc, throughout the day. It was interesting to approach a subject like this.”

The movie also has a raunchy song Tu Nangi Achchi Lagti Hai, which is now changed to Tu Gandi Achchi Lagti Hai for the music album, but the original is still part of the film.

No matter what’s the content of the film, one expects a cinematic treat from a director like Dibakar.

The movie will release on March 19.

The life story of the indomitable, indefatigable and forever evolving Shahrukh Khan has greatly inspired Freida Pinto. The Slumdog Millionaire starlet shared the stage with King Khan at the Golden Globe awards last year and finds him an inspirational figure.

“His (Shahrukh) is by far the most inspirational story of all. He’s graceful, charming, and so wonderful, the best representation that India can have internationally. And I don’t know yet if I was more excited or nervous to be standing next to Shahrukh Khan,” Freida is quoted as saying in a media report.

There have been reports recently that Freida is again being considered for the next Bond film. Earlier also, it was rumoured that she almost missed bagging a role in ‘Quantum of Solace’.

“I’m too young to be a Bond girl. There’s not much of a role, though some of them have become iconic, and you need somebody more mature and beautiful than me,” Freida said.

She has completed the shoot of Julian Schnabel’s film ‘Miral’ and Woody Allen’s ‘You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger’. She also has in her kitty a film titled ‘Dawn of War’ by director Tarsem Singh.

Avika Gor

For all you ‘Balika Vadhu’ fans, here is sad news. TV youngest bahu is no longer available for the show. Anandi aka Avika Gor will soon make her exit.

As reported by a daily, though Anandi owes her success to ‘Balika Vadhu’, she is in no mood to continue with the hit soap. According to a source, “Balika Vadhu is all about Anandi’s character but Avika Gor, the protagonist, has made up her mind to quit the show. The channel tried to persuade her to continue but she didn’t relent.”

With this sudden change, the show’s makers are having tough time to find a new storyline. Either Anandi will die or she will be shown in coma. “The channel is still contemplating whether to show she is dead or show that she slips into a coma, so that they can buy some time to make her reconsider. However, Avika is in no mood to do so,” a source is quoted as saying.

The reason for her exit is still a mystery. May be the young actress is getting fetching projects and her big screen debut is not so far. Next she will be seen as a student of Shahid Kapoor in the film Paathshala.

Akon certainly enjoys a huge fan following in India and the singer is soon going to land here. But the ones for whom he will sing ‘Smack That’ are not his fans but friend Shahrukh Khan. Whoa!

As per reports, Akon and SRK are good friends, and coming Monday he will make a special appearance at the actor’s high-profile, lavish party to celebrate the beginning of third season of IPL. The party will have several Bollywood stars, many international cricketers, business tycoons and many celebrated fashion people. Akon will perform live at the event which is going to happen in Mumbai.

And possibly Akon will also record the song for Shahrukh’s first sci-fi film ‘Ra. 1’during his tour to Mumbai.
